Human Condition
Human Condition explores the universal experiences that define us—our vulnerabilities, hopes, fears, and resilience—through abstracted forms and reflective surface treatments.
The series presents ghostlike, often ambiguous figures rendered in shifting monochrome textures, evoking the emotional and psychological landscapes beneath individual lives. Each painting captures moments suspended between presence and absence, connection and isolation, certainty and doubt, with figures acting as metaphors for the complex, sometimes contradictory feelings that shape the human experience.
Layered mixed media is used to create subtle translucency, surface variation, and textural depth, reinforcing the ephemeral and transient quality of these emotional states. Collectively, the works invite viewers to reflect on the threads that unite us, fostering a deeper recognition of our shared humanity amid life’s impermanence and unpredictability.
Most paintings in this collection measure 30 × 80 cm.
